FAQS
What does the pilot cost?
Nothing. The pilot is free — no subscription, no credit card, no contract. We're in the phase of proving Coaline in real conditions, and the right partners matter more to us right now than revenue.
How long does a pilot run?
Most pilots run for a set period we'll agree on together during the discovery call — long enough for your team to log real decisions and see the patterns build up, short enough that you're not waiting forever to know if it's working. We'll scope this to your team's pace, not a fixed template.
What happens to our data if we don't continue after the pilot?
Your data stays yours. If you choose not to continue, we'll work with you to export or delete your governance records — your call. Nothing is retained or reused without your say-so.
Can we choose in-person or remote, or switch partway through?
Yes. Auckland-based teams can choose in-person onboarding, but you're not locked in — if it's easier to run check-ins remotely afterward, that's fine too. Everyone else starts remote by default.
What's expected of us during the pilot?
Mainly that your team actually uses Coaline for real decisions — not a sandboxed test case. The value of a pilot, for both of us, comes from seeing how governance works under real conditions. Beyond that, we'll ask for occasional feedback and a short check-in or two along the way.
Will our feedback actually change the product?
Yes — that's the point of running pilots before a full launch. Pilot partners have a direct line to the founders, and what we build next, including Confidant and integrations, is shaped by what pilot teams actually run into.
What's the Confidant AI layer, and is it part of the pilot?
Confidant is Coaline's AI layer, built on top of your Decision Ledger to surface patterns, answer governance questions, and flag gaps automatically. It's still in development — we're building it from real pilot usage rather than shipping it speculatively, so pilot teams will see it take shape rather than getting a finished feature on day one.
What happens when the pilot ends — do we lose access?
No. At the end of the pilot, we'll talk through pricing and what a full rollout looks like for your organisation. There's no obligation to continue, and no cliff-edge loss of access while that conversation happens.
